네스프레소, 공정무역 인증 받은 한정판 커피 컬렉션 출시
국제공정무역기구의 글로벌파트너인 네스프레소는 공정무역 인증을 받은 에티오피아와 콜롬비아의 진귀한 원두로 만든 커피 컬렉션을 출시했다. 에티오피아 예가체프는 네스프레소의 커피 전문가들이 예가체프 지역에서 직접 원두를 선별, 예가체프 본래의 부드러운 바디감과 우아한 꽃 향을 복원해냈으며 콜롬비아 아과다스는 네스프레소 커피 전문가들이 커피 테이스팅 과정 중 새로운 풍미를 발견해 개발했다. 본 공정무역 커피는 특별한 커피 컬렉션 ‘익스플로레이션 2’로 10월 12일부터 소진 시까지 전국 네스프레소 부티크와 네스프레소 공식 홈페이지, 모바일 앱, 네스프레소 클럽에서 구매할 수 있다.
Nespresso, a global partner of the Fairtrade International, has launched the limited coffee collection ‘Explorations 2’ made of fair trade certified coffee from Ethiopia and Colombia. Ethiopia Yirgacheffe is developed by coffee experts from Nespresso, they selected the beans directly from Yirgacheffe, rediscovered its traditional white floral notes, brushed with hints of aromatic orange blossom and nuts. Colombia's Aguadas is particularly sweet, reminiscent of candied apples and red berries. This special coffee collection is available in Nespresso boutique and Nespresso official website, mobile app and Nespresso club from October 12.

2017 호텔쇼, 국제공정무역기구 한국사무소 참가
국제공정무역기구 한국사무소는 2017년 10월 18일(수)부터 21일(토)까지 킨텍스에서 진행된 ‘2017 호텔쇼’에 참가해 호텔임직원 및 유통바이어 등을 대상으로 호텔 내에서 취급 가능한 다양한 공정무역 객실용품, 식음료 등을 선보였다. 또한 내년부터 본격적으로 시작하는 공정무역호텔 인증사업 소개와 더불어 글로벌 투명성, 안전성, 신뢰성, 윤리성을 보장하는 공정무역 인증제품을 소개해 공정무역을 통한 호텔앤레스토랑 산업의 새로운 발전 방향과 글로벌 사회적 책임 실현 방안을 제안했다. 본 전시회에 참가한 기업 및 바이어들은 공정무역 인증상품에 대한 정보를 얻고 호텔앤레스토랑 산업이 윤리적, 친환경 고객 확보 및 글로벌 기업으로 발돋움할 수 있는 기회가 될 것으로 기대하며 추후 한국사무소에서 추가 미팅이 예정 중이다.
Fairtrade Korea participated in 'Hotel Show 2017 ' held at KINTEX from Oct. 18th(Wed) to 21st(Tue), 2017, and introduced various fair trade certified products such as personal grooming products, drinks and snacks
that can be used in rooms for hotel executives and buyers. In addition to introducing fair trade certified products that guarantee global transparency, safety, reliability and ethics, Fairtrade Korea suggested Fairtrade Hotel program which will start from next year and proposed new way of CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility) for Hotel & Restaurant industry. Staffs and buyers participating gained information about fair trade, expected to make this an opportunity to attract ethical and eco-friendly customers. 공정무역 호텔 인증 프로그램
국제공정무역기구는 Fairtrade@work, Fairtrade school, Fairtrade Town, Fairtrade Faith group의 4가지 주요한 글로벌 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 직장, 학교, 도시, 종교단체 내에서 공정무역 인증제품을 소비·제공하거나 교육, 관련 행사를 진행하는 경우 국제공정무역기구에서 인증서를 발급하며 전 세계 네트워크를 통해 소개하고 홍보한다.
2017년부터 한국사무소에서는 공정무역 호텔 프로그램을 시작한다. 식음료, 주류, 면화, 화장품 등 호텔 운영 전반에 공정무역 인증제품 적용이 가능하기 때문에 사회적 책임, 지속 가능성을 고민하는 호텔에 공정무역을 통한 새로운 방안을 제시할 예정이다. 공정무역 인증호텔이 되기 위해서는 공정무역 인증 커피, 차, 주류, 스낵, 면화, 등 제품군에 상관없이 4가지 이상을 사용하면 가능하다. 더 자세한 사항은 한국사무소(02-725-0381)로 전화 문의할 수 있다.
Fairtrade national offices operate four global programs: Fairtrade@work, Fairtrade school, Fairtrade town and Fairtrade Faith group. If fair trade certified products are consumed or provided within a workplace, school, city, or religious organization, or if education or related events are conducted, Fairtrade national office issue a certificate, introduce and promote them through international network. Starting in 2017, Fairtrade Korea will start the Fair trade Hotel Program. Since fair trade certified products can be applied to hotel operations including food and beverage, alcoholic beverages, cotton and cosmetics etc, it could suggest new ways of social responsibility and sustainability for hotels. If a hotel uses or provides more than four fair trade certified products, then it can be a fair trade certified hotel.
