모니터링 리포트 발간
국제공정무역기구는 진정으로 무역을 더 공정하게 만들고 있는지, 소농민과 노동자들의 역량이 높아지고 있는지 확인하기 위해 매년 모니터링 보고서를 통해 설명한다. 이를 위해 국제공정무역기구는 인증 감사 자료뿐만 아니라 생산량, 판매액, 추가 장려금, 근로자수 등 관련 정보를 수집하고 분석하며 매년 데이터를 투명하게 공개한다. 또한 공정무역으로 인한 혜택과 영향력을 측정하기 위해 대대적으로 인터뷰, 그룹인터뷰를 진행하며 정확한 모니터링을 위해 노력하고 있다. 또한 스스로 비판의식을 갖고 새로운 솔루션을 찾을 수 있도록 독립적인 평가를 위탁한다.

Monitoring the size and scope of Fairtrade
Fairtrade shows how we support farmers and workers’ secure and sustainable livelihoods by collecting and analysing data from around the world. That is our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning(MEL) system and it works with several types of data: monitoring the size and scope of Fairtrade; monitoring Fairtrade benefits and impact; independent evaluations. 국제공정무역기구의 인증 시스템
공정무역 인증 시스템은 생산 - 수출입 - 제조에 이르기까지의 모든 과정을 인증, 감사할 뿐 아니라 추적 가능한 전 세계 최대의 글로벌 시스템이다. 국제공정무역기구의 생산자, 무역업자, 기업은 독립적인 제3의 외부 인증 기관인 FLOCERT로부터 인증을 받고, 정기적으로 감사를 받아야 하기 때문에 단순 기업에 대한 사회적 인증이 아닌 원료, 사람, 환경, 지속가능성을 모두 포괄하는 유일한 인증 체계다. 공정무역 최저금액을 준수하고, 공정무역 프리미엄(추가장려금)을 기준에 따라 지급하는지를 본다. 또, 공정무역의 경제, 사회 및 환경 기준을 준수하고 있는지를 철저하게 감사해 공정무역 마크의 완전성을 유지하고 있으며, 공정무역 인증 제품의 안전성, 신뢰성, 윤리성을 보장한다.

Certification systems
Fairtrade certification systems are the world's largest and traceable global system, which certifies and audits all processes from production to distribution. All the actors in supply chain - producers, traders and retailers should get certified by FLOCERT, an independent third party certification body. It is the only certification system that covers ingredient, human, environment and sustainability. We strictly adhere to Fairtrade standards; Fairtrade minimum price; premium; other economic, social and environmental standards, so that we can maintain the integrity of the Fairtrade mark and ensure the safety, reliability and ethics of Fairtrade certified products.

공정무역 인증 호텔, Hotel Ischgl
오스트리아에 위치한 Hotel Ischgl은 국제공정무역기구 오스트리아 사무소의 공식 인증 공정무역호텔이다. 특히 환경보호, 지속가능성을 우선순위로 삼아 호텔을 운영하고 있다. 더불어, 그 일환으로 다양한 공정무역 인증 제품을 제공하고 있다. 커피, 카카오, 설탕을 비롯해 타올, 배스타올, 냅킨 역시 공정무역 인증 제품으로 제공하고 있다. 또한 홈페이지 내 국제공정무역기구 오스트리아 사무소로부터 인증 받은 공정무역 호텔 인증서를 표시하며 공정무역의 동참을 고객들에게 적극 알리고 있다. 

Fairtrade certified hotel, Hotel Ischgl
Hotel Ischgl, located in Austria, is the Fairtrade hotel certified by Fairtrade Austria. Especially, they are running hotels with environmental protection and sustainability as priorities so they provide various Fairtrade certified products. Coffee, cacao, sugar, as well as towels, bath towels and napkins are also available as Fairtrade certified products. In addition, it displays Fairtrade hotel certificate on its website and actively informs customers to join Fairtrade.

공정무역 유기농 타올
공정무역 유기농 인증면화 100%로 만들어진 수건이 국내 출시됐다. 면화는 그 동안 아동노동착취와 대량 농약 사용 제품으로 악명이 높았다. 하지만 이번에 출시된 공정무역 유기농 타올은 유기농과 공정무역 인증을 모두 취득한 인도의 목화밭에서 자란 목화만을 사용했으며 철저하게 공정무역 기준을 준수한 제품으로 남녀노소 누구나 안심하고 사용할 수 있다. 일반적인 수건 사이즈보다 조금 더 크고, 도톰하게 제작됐다. 매일 사용하는 수건을 통해서도 목화 재배 생산자들의 삶에 긍정적인 변화를 만들 수 있다.

Fairtrade & Organic Towel
Fairtrade & Organic Towel made of 100% of Fairtrade and organic certified cotton seed released in Korea. Cotton has been notorious for its exploitation of child labor and the use of massive pesticides. Fairtrade and organic cotton towel, however, uses only cotton grown in cotton fields of India, which has acquired both organic and Fairtrade certification. It is a product that strictly adheres to Fairtrade standards so can be used safely by anyone. We can make a positive change in the lives of cotton growers with daily towel.
